A recent comment made to Louise after Agata in Israel received her DVD's.

I had a quick look already at all of your six DVDs. Amazing. This is even more than I expected. You create art in this material. Simplicity and nature and music and photography!
And the calming voice of Louise! Yes Louise. The star! You look gorgeous, beautiful, stunning! In white outfits, blue sky or beige sand is all it takes to complete the picture.
I am looking forward to celebrating yoga with your gentle guidance. Looking forward to getting up in the morning, when all the house is still sleeping, so I can "soak up the benefits of my (our!) practice!"

Welcome to Yoga to Health with Louise Wiggins. (Meet Louise).
Let's see YOGA as meaning, Your Opening to Growth and Awareness,
Yoga is the art of moving into stillness and in stillness, listening and in listening, becoming more aware.

The word "Namaste" is an Eastern greeting with the palms together at the heart centre to honour the place within each other where we are connected in the oneness of yoga.
So namaste dear cyber friends in yoga. Greetings and welcome.
With warmest and sincerest thanks to Geoff Wiggins for his patience and time in making this opportunity to communicate posssible as we share our yoga journey together!

Yoga teaches us to listen.
To listen to our inner voice.
And in this listening, being fully present.
And in being fully present,
Being comfortable with what is
And in being comfortable with what is.....
Being comfortable with who we are ....and finding peace.

Yoga is art of taking personal control of your own physical, mental and emotional well being.
It is the individual, holistic and integrating, living experience of who you really are.
Yoga is a journey into yourself to find yourself.
So let's together go within and experience ourselves.

What is Hatha Yoga?

Hatha yoga is a relaxed system of body movements practised with a free flowing breath and a quiet mind so that you can give it your full attention, with full awareness. It originated in the East about 4000 years ago. This ancient system for self health management has survived all this time because it is an intelligent approach to your own well being and it really works.

The yoga postures (asanas) are scientifically designed to stretch and strengthen each muscle, ligament and joint in your body. In this way stimulated blood circulation establishes a free flow of vitality and health to each cell in your body for a full and active life.

The yoga of the breath (pranayama) is a vehicle into stillness as it controls the mind and gradually begins to reduce the fluctuations of the mind connecting us to the rhythm of the universe and the gift of ever expanding consciousness.

Yoga practices allow you to experience your full potential as it creates union between all the different aspects of yourself, uniting the body, mind and breath in stillness.
This is the essence of yoga.
